MEET DAVID, YOUR TRAINER.
I was always an active kid growing up. I participated in community sports but fell in love with soccer. I used soccer as an escape from the real world. When I was playing nothing mattered other than not letting the other team’s players get down the field with the ball. When I wasn’t on the field, I was angry, scared, confused because I didn’t know where I belonged. I knew I was different and I wasn’t sure if I was ready to accept it. In college, I went to try-out for top schools; however, coaches always said I needed to put on some weight and to try again next year. I ended up playing for Chaffey College and once my college soccer career came to an end in 2017, I needed to find another outlet so that’s when I turned to fitness. Fitness was that place, I knew I belonged there from the moment I did my very first home workout. It was tough but at the end I felt like I can take on the world and never looked back! Now I want to create a place where you feel like you belong. Where a mother can be the queen of dragons and where the LGBTQ+ can be athletes.
